The Rusty Razor Barber Shop

Signed up for a profoil fade and a beard trim. TK may have given one of the most unprofessional experiences. The fading was terrible the use of scissors on top looked like she did it with her eyes closed. She cut me up good on the neck and just let it bleed as she continued the haircut. I requested a beard trim and she argued with me about trimming my beard until I said I’ll just do it myself forget about it. And not to mention her hygiene makes one want to hold their breath the entire time they are in the chair. Would not recommend, unless you appreciate a barber who takes zero pride in their work.

First thing I noticed was how clean the Shop was. Second thing, was a friendly greeting, as I was told to come on in and then told I could sit in a chair and I would be attended to shortly, which I was, almost immediately. Third thing, was conversation with my stylist. It all seemed to come easily and again very pleasant and super friendly. Always had a smile also. Fourth thing. The shop was larger tan it seemed from the outside. It was bright and airy, and tastefully decorated with some vintage items mixed in with some more current pieces. I believe there are 3 stylists and they were fun amount themselves as well as their clients. When I arrived I was only client but during course of my hand cut 2 more people came in and as I left there were people outside waiting there turn. Ver

I wish Brittany luck with her shop, she seems energetic. My poor rating of her shop is due to lack of managerial control. She asks that her clients use a service to schedule a haircut. Most clients perform this task without complaint or hesitation. The issue is that when the client arrives for the appointment on time or a few minutes early. Brittany finds it perfectly acceptable to have the client wait another 20 or 30 minutes while she services a walk-in. No apology, just an acceptable business practice for her. I recognize that it’s a simple haircut but do we need to be constantly reminded that customer service is a NOT priority with some of these business. The irony in all this is that Brittany promotes her shop as a local business that should be supported by locals.

We have been here twice now to have Brittany cut my toddler's hair (she gave him his first haircut), and have had a wonderful experience both times! :) For his first cut, he was super chill. The second time, not so much. Regardless, both times Brittany got him settled in quickly, and delivered an excellent cut. I'm so glad we came here first! We will for sure be getting his hair cut here for as long as we live in the area.

Clean, organized and ontime. Great staff and owner. First time and Brittany did a great job and talked me through everything she was doing and why. I love the theme of the location.
