I visited Courtney’s location on Badgers Island in Kittery seeking a new hair stylist and left feeling like I had made a friend for life. Courtney is a highly intelligent and empathetic individual who goes above and beyond to connect with her clients and give a sense of comfort and belonging while putting in every effort to get to know them and find common ground. The atmosphere and ambience at her salon is welcoming and uplifting, and the reputation of Courtney and her staff is well earned. I cannot say enough good things about Courtney at moodra! I came in last weekend to have her fix a botched haircut that I received at another salon. The cut I received elsewhere had weird texturing, unevenness, and the layers were really awkward. Courtney fixed it completely!!! I have very thick, very straight hair, which seems to throw some stylists off, but Courtney brought everything back in visual balance, and styled it beautifully. Beyond the cut being great, the atmosphere is lovely too. The whole space is relaxing and welcoming, and Courtney and the other stylist there were both very warm, friendly, and just immediately made me feel at ease. Super easy, made my appointment for what I wanted right on the website. Courtney did an amazing job!!! They have a cool space with great people. First time being there and already felt as if I had been going there for years. You can tell they have put in a lot of work to make sure everyone is safe during the pandemic. Everyone was masked and take each client's temperature before they go over to the chair. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!
