The Nugget Newspaper

As a free weekly newspaper and source of entertainment and community spirit, it works. The town is lucky to have it. In terms of journalism, the Nugget struggles to find a voice, is mis or under-informed to a surprising degree given the small array of mostly recurring topics, and articles generally read as a cobbled collection of hearsay and half-remembrances, inductive without being incisive. One detects a certain bias, yet is left with a sense that the paper exists not to influence, but mostly to genuflect toward the forces bringing rapid change to the community all around us.
