The NOW Massage Mount Pleasant

I’ve been seeing Connor at The NOW for a few months now, and I truly can’t say enough good things. I’m a high-anxiety personality and it’s very hard for me to relax or get out of my head. I also have a background in massage therapy and work as a PT, so I’m extremely particular about who puts their hands on me. Connor is the first massage therapist I’ve seen in years who can consistently get me completely relaxed — I’ve even fallen asleep during sessions, which never happens for me! I always leave feeling lighter, calmer, and physically amazing. If you’re looking for someone skilled, intuitive, and genuinely gifted, I highly recommend him.

I received a gift certificate for The NOW. October was my first massage. When I went, they encouraged me to do the "membership"--telling me that I could get 3 massages on my gift card. They told me there was no membership fee, that I could cancel anytime, and that there were no obligations with it. (Hindsight, I should have known better. But this is what was sold to me--also I did specifically ask about membership fees and told them I did not want to be a "member" if I had to pay a fee). So, from what they explained to me, I thought this would be good since I was only planning to utilize the service once a month until my gift card ran out. So, I signed up for it. In November, I got my second massage. In December, I got my 3rd massage and spoke with the ladies up front and everything was go

John and the front desk ladies were wonderful, and the massage was excellent. however , there is construction going on next door and for a good amount of my massage there was drilling and loud banging right across from me. it was near impossible to actually relax and enjoy the massage while this was happening. john was excellent and apologized for the loud noises, but wish i was made aware of the possibility of disturbance beforehand because it definitely did take away from the overall experience. I would give John a 5/5, but the construction was extremely disturbing .

I must begin by apologizing. I can not believe I have not moved my review from Yelp over to Google yet. We have probably tried most if not all massage places in Mt.P. Many are quite good. Some are less expensive. None are as good. The Now may be a few dollars more than other places but worth every penny. They listen to you, concentrate on the areas you say but still complete the whole massage experience. All are good - Carrie is the best there is. You could also ask for Anthony or Dean although. This is a way we treat ourselves when we have a few dollars left over after paying the bills. You should work it into your budget if you can. You deserve it !!

CJ is wonderful massage therapist. Very skilled, and knowledgeable. He's technique is top notch. Feeling so much pain relief after my last appointment.
