The worst. Sure they are news but it doesnt change the fact that they fimed a little girl’s death as their second most popular youtube video. Awful

I went through customer service hell with these folks (which is, not surprisingly, outsourced overseas). My credit card was charged days before my "complementary" free trial period was supposed to end, to which I immediately called their customer service number and was assured that I would be refunded. After several weeks and multiple phone calls (to which they never had any record of my earlier calls, so they told me), they kept trying to delay and delay with extending their declared processing time (up to 14 business days) in the hopes I would give up. Even on the merchant website, I can't find any record of my subscription payment on there. I had no choice but to call my bank to disput this charge. This was one of the worst customer care experiences I have ever dealt with. I got signed

Please reply if there are other ways I can support local journalism. I wish I had read the reviews here before signing up. In 4 weeks I didn't once receive delivery despite calling and emailing and being assured that they would fix the issue. Then when I cancelled they sent this message, "We are sorry to hear that despite our efforts to keep you as a valued customer, still, you have decided to cancel your subscription." Your efforts? I never received the product I purchased. That's a pretty low standard to meet.

Crooked, extremely poor customer service, do not give them your credit card information, you'll regret it. It was a nightmare to unsubscribe. Good luck with the spam emails. I was mysteriously signed up for a dating site app after I requested to unsubscribe and got push back. Spam calls galore afterwards, as well. I think someone needs to investigate this company.

Trust me, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! I used some airline miles to trial a subscription. I found the quality of the writing to be poor and lean heavily to the right. I asked to cancel the subscription over the phone. They continued to send the paper and then sent letters asking to pay $27 to renew my subscription. The papers finally stopped. I then received a letter to pay $27 from a debt collector despite that I asked to cancel the subscription. I was never sent a bill, just ads asking to renew my subscription. What a scam. Please just avoid subscribing in the first place so you do not have the same headaches I did with this company.
