The Nail Bar

I wanted to love this place because it’s a convenient location and everyone is nice but I got cut while they cut my cuticles today and no one seemed to care. Hopefully their tools are sanitized properly and I won’t get an infection. Not used to getting cut like this. Too bad.

The environment was not clean, and it appeared that UV lights were either not available or not used properly to dry nails. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the person who did my manicure. She asked me to pay in the middle of the manicure, which I found very strange and uncomfortable. She applied the top coat immediately after doing the French tips, which caused a messy result. When I asked her to fix it, instead of correcting the issue, she simply added another layer of top coat, making it even worse. When I insisted that it be redone properly, she grabbed my hand forcefully and removed the nail color in a very rough and inappropriate manner. I cannot recommend The Nail Bar highly enough, especially for special occasions like weddings! I booked an appointment months in advance for my wedding nails, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They made a note that it was for my big day and assigned me to one of their most talented nail techs. She not only delivered exactly what I envisioned but also guided me to choose an almond shape instead of my usual square, explaining how it would elevate the look. I’m so glad I trusted her expertise because my nails turned out absolutely stunning—elegant and classy, just what I wanted for my wedding day! Unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience with my pedicure here. I didn’t write this right away, as I really don’t like to give negative reviews but I’m still having issues the next day. It’s right under my building so wanted to give it a try. I don’t know the name of my technician but she started cutting my cuticles and digging into the side of my nails to the point that it was painful and I was wincing. I also left with nail polish dried all over my toes; the color job looked like something I could’ve done at home. But i think the worst part is that I’m still having pain in my toe walking around the next day in the area she was very deeply cutting my cuticles. In the future, I think it would be beneficial if the technicians ask if it’s okay to cut, as I would tell this woman no moving

Place is quiet and clean but the service I got was below standards. I had to keep reminding the girl to make the water warmer for the pedicure since it was cold. She did a good job with the massage but the nail paint application was patchy and she had to put 3 layers which didn’t dry even after sitting in the drying chair for 20 minutes. Now my toes are all chipped and I wasted $45 + $10 tip to go get my nails done again somewhere else.
