Studio Z is a family-owned hair salon and barber shop conveniently located about one block from the PATH train in Hoboken, NJ. I have been a loyal customer since 1994 having various cuts and colors over the years. My stylist, Chuck, is a meticulous master at his craft. My husband also enjoyed the best haircut he has ever had (with Chuck).

Chuck is the kindest, savviest, hair artist you will find. Everyone is warm and they make you feel at home. Our family has over a decade going to Studio Z, we commute to Hoboken specifically for haircuts. You will be glad you went.

Leslie has been my trusted hair colorist for over 20 years. I regularly get stopped on the street and asked for the name of my colorist because Leslie's highlights are so beautiful. And, despite moving to Manhattan two years ago, I still make the trip back to Hoboken for Leslie to do my hair. Going to Leslie is like going home to family. No one will care more, spend whatever time it takes to make sure your color is perfect and invite you back for any changes you want, without hesitation. Leslie is a true artist who genuinely loves her craft and her clients. A visit to Leslie will leave you looking gorgeous and feeling cherished.

I have had a hard time getting a decent haircut in the area. Tried several places before here and they have not worked out. The cut i got here was great. Admittedly the upper end of what i find reasonable ($60 for a men's cut). The lady who cut my hair used scissors for almost the whole cut though. The blending is particularly great between the sides and top.

Studio Z Salon, It’s a Family owned business and it’s been around a very long time. I been getting my haircuts here since about 1998! Rich was my good friend and classmate. His mother Leslie use to cut my hair! Now my good friend Rich does, her son! It’s amazing how time flies by. But I’m a lifelong customer and Rich is handsome the best in the business !
