This review is for receiving massages as a client. Will never return. You’re better off paying slightly more for massage envy or some place in china town. The massages are hit or miss, they discourage requests outside of a specific routine, it’s in a dungeon with no separators between tables and they give you a bed sheet to wrap around you like a toga. But that’s what you get for $40. If you find a good person, you can request them until they graduate out, including for 2 hr massages. What makes this 1 star is their ineffective scheduling system and even worse communication with clients. They have repeatedly shifted me from my requested people with zero communication. I understand that the masseuses are students so when prompted for feedback I told the student that he didn’t listen to me. I booked another appointment right after to give the place another chance and just asked for a different person. They called to inform me that I was no longer welcome 2 hrs before my next appointment. Unprofessional and incompetent with no supervision. They also denied me a refund and lied about availability.

I intend to study at a massage school. I registered, I was assigned Zoom for registration, and I was unpleasantly surprised by the unfriendly and condescending attitude towards me of the person who conducted the introductory conversation. During the Zoom conference, I personally had the impression that from the moment I announced that I did not speak English well, but I understood almost everything—- this man was biased towards me. It is a pity that this is so. but I think that this is not right.

Sketchy vibes are kind of my thing and to some this experience may be considered pretty sketchy getting all massaged up in a huge room with a bunch of other people. This was actually far from sketchy or that could mean I’ve just been to a lot of sketchier things hahahaha. I firmly believe in going to different schools for services like hair, skin, massage care…because hey why not support a future professional…they have to learn and practice and I don’t mind paying less! It was easy to call and leave a message for my preferred date and time. I called in the morning and received a call back that afternoon (when there was clinic). For a $35 massage (plus a tip! :)), I would definitely come back. I had Rachel, who was super sweet and made sure I was comfortable, especially since it was my first time there. Like other reviewers said, it takes place in a room with other people. I probably would've been uncomfortable but she did a great job of keeping me properly covered the whole time. The booking process was relatively easy - left a voicemail with my preference for date and time and got a call back the next day.
