I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Mish for a few years now and she is by far the best stylist i’ve ever had! She has great artistic instincts and I love collaborating with her on a new look every time I come in. Her haircuts are amazing and the movement my hair gets with her cut last for several months. I love to change my color at least a little every time I come in so we have a great creative conversation about what to do with it and it always turns out beautiful. She really listens to her clients and is excellent at interpreting their vision into a reality! And she’s a very nice person so it’s always nice to chat with her when I come in- absolutely highly recommend!

I have been going to Mish for almost 4 years. I spent a long time trying to find a stylist that really understood great color in Portland, and I found exactly what I needed and wanted with Mish. She is truly an artist, creating great pallets of all colors and styles. I tend to favor the reds, pinks and purples, which are difficult to make look real and inspiring at the same time. When I see Mish, she listens to what I'm looking for and creates a work of art that takes my breath away every time I walk out of the salon. After searching for the right stylist in the Portland Metro for the past two years, I am so glad to have found Mish. I saw her recently for full highlights and a cut and am very pleased. She listened intently to what I was trying to acheive, provided an insightful consultation and artfully acheived wonderful results. This is the happiest I have been with my hair since moving here and I highly recommend Mish at The Lair Salon!

I have extremely (naturally) curly hair. It is difficult to cut properly, and difficult to color properly. I've had some absolute disasters in my past! I ended up making an appointment with Mish a few years ago after seeing a review online that said she was the curly hair whisperer. And I'll be forever glad I did! She literally brought my hair back to life. The color, highlights and cut are always perfect. She's a consummate professional and the most talented stylist I've ever seen. And a lovely person to boot. My mom, who I inherited my curls from, now goes to Mish as well. We both love her. I could not recommend her more for my curly-haired brethren or anyone, really.
