The House of Locs

Let me tell y’all when I say Kiki’s hands are blessed, I mean it! She does my husband’s and my kids’ hair, and every time she works her magic, it’s an experience. While Kiki was doing my husband’s hair, he mouthed to me, “Did she even start?” I told him, “You’re almost finished!” He was shocked because he’s used to rough pulling and twisting, but with Kiki, he couldn’t even tell she was that gentle. Now, my 8-year-old has locs, and usually he cries and fights when anyone else touches his hair. I warned Kiki ahead of time, but she had him calm from the wash to the retwist. My son made me look like a liar, he sat perfectly still the whole time, and even gave her a hug afterward! 😂 My 10-year-old has braids, and after most appointments, I usually have to give him Motrin because his scalp h

The service was exceptional!!! Colored my locs for the first time, loving how it came out. Also did interlocking. Keke walked me through the process, explaining the services I needed based on an assessment of my hair and ensured I was comfortable from start to finish. Definitely learned a lot and for sure going back.

I was referred here by a client of mine (I’m a Pet Salon owner) I was desperate to get my locs worked on since I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and my usual stylist was out of town. Ive had my locs for 4 years. I was able to get in the day before the wedding for maintenance and style by Tiffany. I really had a good time chatting with the girls, lots of laughs and good conversation. I really loved how my hair came out! Everyone totally tripped out on the style 😀 I even purchased a shampoo & conditioner, love the products they used. The only thing I will say I wish she would have gone down each of my locs & done the twisting there too. Other than that I was more than pleased with my experience here and Tiffany is awesome!! I’ll definitely be back

Booked an appointment for loc reconstruction because some of my locs were coming loose. The stylist did not complete the reconstruction and basically did a retwist. The retwist was loose as well I have a few that are not retwisted. I was still charged for the reconstruction even when I mentioned to her that some of them were not fixed.

I went for a retwist and style. I loved the gel they used, it was light and didn’t flake on my hair. The retwist was done fast and looked great, but the style not so much. I just wanted two barrel rolls but they were done lopsided. They tied in string at the bottom to hold it but they still came loose within two days. (I tie my hair down every night and don’t touch it unless I’m spraying oil) By the third day I had locks hanging out and had to take the rolls down. I called to try and get them redone but they were too busy to squeeze me in. Not super happy about that but I like the salon enough to give them another try. Photos are what I wanted vs what I got.
