The Hometown Barber

I have been here 4-6 times with my boys. My husband also has been here multiple times. The last haircut we got was off, messy and not uniform. I wanted to give him another chance. Then today he really messed up my son’s hair. I showed him photos and told him I wanted a classic kids side part. He nodded and said ok. It was nothing like the photos and he blamed it on that hair cutting is an art form and it will grow back fast. WE ARE GETTING FAMILY PHOTOS DONE NEXT WEEK. No sir, hair cutting is a service, I commission you to do. If you don’t do it right then I shouldn’t pay you (I did still pay him and I left a tip!). My son is 10, he doesnt wiggle in the chair or anything. He was upset about the way it looked. No apology, nothing. I understand people make mistakes but at least own up to the

Neat, friendly old fashioned barber shop. I walked in with my special needs son searching for a new barber. My 30 year old has had one barber his entire life. After his passing we needed to find a quiet shop for my son's needs. Jeremy was friendly and Matt had a great experience. Matt has found his new barber to go to for many more years. Thank you for your amazing service.

Our experience with Jeremy was incredible! Going to his shop felt like stepping back in the good ole' time. We felt so welcomed, honored, and it felt like a safe, family place. I highly encourage anyone looking for a non-profane barber shop that is wonderful for families, which are not common nowadays. 100000/10 recommend!

Classic barbershop, always welcoming and I have barely ever had to wait for the chair to be open.

Great, old fashioned, wholesome barbershop! There are some great barber's in the area, but Jeremy and his place is different. Jeremy is also a great barber, by the way, and so is his barber shop! The shop looks like it's is right out of the 50's and is a cool place to hang out while you wait your turn for a haircut. My boys like to beat me at checkers and we look forward to playing checkers while we wait for our turn in the barber chair. Although the barbershop is old fashioned, Jeremy is not and he knows how to give a great, modern haircut. However, his a prices are a bit old fashioned and we like that! What I like most about visiting The Hometown Barber is the conversation with Jeremy and his laid-back, old fashioned shop. Although there are other great barber's in the area, sometimes
