The Hair Queens/barbershop

Friendly and inviting environment. However, braiding was overpriced and instead of the quoted time of 4.5 hours it took 9. Also, not at all happy with my goddess braids once I got home and they were dry. They are extremely frizzy and tangled. Everyone else that came and went throughout the day all had wonderful experiences but no one else got braids.

I had a hair appointment with The hair Queen this morning. I had somewhat of a dilemma because I knew she was going to do a beautiful job on my hair, but I had a job that I had to do which could possibly sweat my hair out. Kita not only did a beautiful job fixing my hair but She fixed my hair so that my style would last due to the nature of the job that I had to do. She’s a great hairstylist who provides great Customer Service and care for your hair and clients. Thank you Kita for being great!

Excellent service! Kita was wonderful to work with. Micah was also super kind and welcoming. Loved being there and having my hair done. My hair turned out perfectly and I can’t wait to come back!

I moved to Virginia about 6 months ago. I've been looking for someone to braid my hair. I found someone in my town but then the stylist left. So I was in search of another stylist. I found this one and I'm glad I did. She did an amazing job on my hair. I absolutely loved my hair. Thank you so much.

for starters the service was awful i called in and still was waiting for nearly two hours. secondly the barber who cut my kids hair was doing everything but his job going outside 40 times leaving the store anything you could think of. on top of that the haircut was terrible it was uneven too short i mean my kid couldn’t find one thing that was good. would say overall the worst experience i have had in a barber shop if i could i would give zero stars
