The Hair Coop Salon

Erin is the best! I am a hair stylist and colorist that used to work at the Hair Coop when it was the Hair Cafe. My hair is very thick and almost always long. I am very particular with my hair and Erin was the only one I trusted with my cut and color. I have lived in NYC for 5 years now and I miss her dearly. I work at a high end salon here and have tried several different people that I work with and no body can get my hair right like she does. The salon I work in would charge over $500 to do my hair if I had to pay but I can get it done for free since I’m an employee. I choose to wait and go to Erin to get my hair done when I visit!! Sometimes my roots are a couple of inches and my coworkers make snarky comments but I don’t care. I know my hair will look it’s best when she does it. Thank

I have always had a great experience with Hair Coop. Kathy does my hair. Awesome job on color and highlights. I have long hair that requires a lot to style. I will always stay this salon. I would gladly have the other stylists blow dry too. The shop is friendly, clean and professional. They have a nail tech available as well. Don't believe one negative ranter.

I love getting my hair done here! It’s very welcoming and you instantly feel comfortable when you walk inside. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable. Not only will they listen to what you want but they will also educate you on how to take care of your hair once you leave. Along with hair styling they also have a manicure/pedicure area and offer other beauty services. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here for years and wouldn't trust my hair with anyone else! Shelby is absolutely amazing and I look forward to seeing her every few months. All of the ladies in the salon have always been pleasant, joking around, and making everyone that walks in the door feel welcome. I'm definitely going to miss coming here when I move!

I have been going to my hairdresser at the Hair Coop for more than 20 years. My sister in law is a hairdresser and I don’t have her do my hair. I have it done at the hair coop. My husband and kids as well. We travel more than 30 minutes each way. Won’t go anywhere else. They are the kindest, most honest, hardworking people you will ever meet. I saw a bad review here about them and all I can say is that there are three sides to every story. Your side, their side, and the truth. I hope any issues are resolved in a peaceful way.
