The Flamingo Lounge

I got my hair done here a couple weeks ago and I'm OBSESSED. This is the most comfortable hair experience I've ever had!! All of the people there were super friendly and welcoming. Christiana is the sweetest person I know and she knew how to work with my hair, She took the time to listen to my ideas and offered great suggestions. I had black box dye in my hair and she still managed to get a vibrant red color without damaging my hair. Definitely worth the price too. I'll definitely be coming back!!

I had an amazing time at The Flamingo Lounge! Jessia Ruby and Kris are so amazing, talented, SWEET and really made me feel welcome. After moving here a year ago I haven't really found a community where I fit in, but Jessica and Kris really made me feel like they get me and were so nice to talk to! I needed my hair done so badly it's not even funny (attaching a before pic) and afterwards I finally felt like myself again. I literally felt revived after this appointment. They have an angel number deal right now where you can get your hair color done, a hair cut, and a tattoo all in one day! Besides everyone being so generous the shop itself is so fun and adorable. If you look around you will continue to find cute little details all around the shop. highly recommend it! : )

Can’t recommend this place enough! If the ambiance isn’t already telling you this is a safe space where you become more confident and beautiful by the minute, allow me via this review. I’d been meaning to try this place out for ages and set an appointment with Christiana. First and foremost, can’t thank her enough— she restored my hair FULLY— MY OWN HAIR that I wasn’t even aware could achieve such CURLS and made me actually WANT to wear it natural, something I formerly hated doing. She simplified what I thought would be a complicated curly hair routine and recommended the most adorable products (pictured), which, a week later I can confirm do make a difference. Kris is AMAZING!! Got 2 tattoos done by her from her FLASH SALE and let me just say THEY ARE LOVELY!! One of my fav tattoos I’ve ever gotten so far!! She was so nice and she made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Not to mention the Flamingo Lounge looks so fun it was just a vibe to be there! Absolutely amazing experience! Christiana performed miracles on my hair. As a guy, I begrudgingly always went to fantastic Sam’s. Always left disappointed but knew no better options. Found TFL on Instagram and set up an appointment. So happy I did! My stylist (so excited I get to say that) took her time explaining the game plan, taught me my hair type and what it tends to do and what she thought would look best and I’m so so happy with my haircut. Literally, spent a good majority of the time fixing all the mistakes from other haircuts. Cant express enough how much better my head and confidence feels. Gotta life long customer with me! Tysm!!
