First timer : was walking through 32 nd street and found this shop .. looked a good shop for various facial products . Lots and lots of face packs .. got some to test out z price was a bit high though. Serums costed about 40$ .. very nice location . Very close to Penn station : service was average . Overall a decent experience..
The Face Shop is a Korean cosmetics store located in the heart of K-Town. The store has a robust range of Korean skincare products, all organized together based on brand. The workers circulate around and are available to help make recommendations, though sometimes it may take a while due to the amount of people in the store. They also sell other Korean products, such as BTS plushies and other items. One downside is the cost of Korean skincare is very expensive, and it isn't the fault of the store, but overall it does get quite expensive. The Face Shop also has its own line of skincare you can buy.
Very nice store to try out skincare testers but some of their products are overpriced. A $14 lip mask ran me $21 here!! My advice is to find a product you like, and then purchase it for cheaper somewhere else. There’s a discount skincare store down the block called KO’LLECTION that had some of the same products for cheaper, or you can check online at Yesstyle.
A disgrace of a business. Patiently browsing after work waiting for a dinner esrbation here, looking at the selection when, after handling a bottle of body wash,n which I discover is broken after opening the lid, I was accused by the workers of breaking the dispenser on a bottle that I had just handled. I say that I didn't break the bottle but the worker doubles down and says that she saw her co-worker saw me do it. I then say to check the cameras because I didn't do it after that the worker retreated to hiding behind the counter with her other co-worker. If you're going to accuse your customers of things without certainty be prepared to come with the actual facts. Unprofessional and a disgrace. This is what happens when you hire teenagers.
The worst service I’ve received in years. Has NOTHING to do with traditional Korean politeness or hospitality. It is a shame that they sell BTS products, since the employees are rude and unprofessional. I wanted to buy a BTS apron that was hanging by itself. So I asked an enployee to show me where I could get one. She asked me if I wantes a NEW one. I mean, do people actuallt come to shop for “oldl ones for that kind of price? I said “Of course”. Then she just waved her hand in some vague direction and disappeared. When I failed to find what I was looking for, I said “Could you PLEASE take me where it is?” Walking me to where those aprons were stacked turned out to be a whole new level of “doing a favor” for that young lady… I do not really understand. Aren’t these employees looking to SEL
