Achaia did such an amazing job with my hair. I had no prior knowledge of stylist here to choose. I came to her very honest about neglecting my natural hair, keeping it in protective styles etc and not caring for it like I used to do. She was welcoming, smiling always and told me about my hair and the products I need to use that are better for my hair. She even told me the products I was using throw them out lol which I appreciated. When she washed my hair, she told me exactly what she was doing each step and showed me the products as well. What I appreciated the most out the whole experience was her consulting with a senior stylist on the best way my hair should be cut because my hair had alot of damage ( which i said chop off whatever needs to be cut lol) and to get a shape as all sides w

DeLourdes at The Curlective truly treats hair, not just styles it. I came in with very dry, damaged hair, and she took the time to assess my hair’s needs and create a consistent treatment plan. Since being under her care, my hair is softer, stronger, and far more manageable with noticeably less breakage. I appreciate her honesty, knowledge, and focus on long-term hair health. I’ve been coming to the salon since May and I really love my stylist, Delourdes. She’s so knowledgeable and has been giving me tips to have healthier hair. I mainly come here for a blow dry and trim, but this time I got a silk press and I can tell how healthy my hair is. Everyone at the salon is always so personable and I get amazing washes here. This is my go to natural hair salon!

Phi is my go to stylist (every two weeks) and she is keeping my hair very healthy. The CURLective has many amazing stylists that are professional and constantly working on their craft. My appointments always start on time and the products make my hair feeling amazing. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of service provided. Today, I had my first silk press of the season so prepare yourselves to be SICK of me!!!!

This was my first time ever going to a hair salon, so I was definitely nervous but also excited to start the new year taking better care of my hair. I booked the Silk Press package (with add-ons: trim and customized treatment) with Phi, and she was honestly amazing. She’s a great conversationalist, super welcoming, and you can really tell she loves her craft and educating her clients. I had never seen my hair straight before and was worried it wouldn’t suit me, but as the appointment went on, I started feeling myself more and more. I loved my hair when I walked out and was really happy with the results. That said, I did have to wait about 40 minutes past my appointment time.
