I had such an amazing experience at Healing Hands Dominican Shop today hands down one of the best salon visits I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable, but meeting Via, the owner, is what truly made the experience special. She wasn’t offended by me asking about her products at all, in fact she gave me much insight . Via was incredibly attentive and actually took the time to listen to what I wanted instead of rushing or pushing a different style. She was honest in the best way , giving professional advice while still fully supporting the hairstyle I had in mind. That level of care and transparency made me trust her immediately. I had my first appointment here yesterday and honestly it exceeded expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable, not awkward or rushed like some salons can be. Via, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she actually listened to what I wanted instead of just doing her own thing. I got a blowout and a trim, and she was very respectful about my length. She showed me exactly how much she was cutting before doing it and checked in throughout, which I really appreciated. No surprise inches gone, just clean, healthy ends and a beautiful finish. My hair looked polished but still like me, which is rare. It was honestly the best blowout I’ve ever had. I had a great experience at this hair salon for a color and blowout. The salon was very clean and recently remodeled, which gave it a fresh, happy, feel-good atmosphere. My hair was treated with care and integrity, they used high-quality products that made a noticeable difference on my hair. I especially appreciated that they took their time blow-drying and did not burn or damage my hair. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and very satisfied with the results.

I’ve been coming to healing hands (now re-named crown healer) since I was 15 years old. I am now 29 years old and a proud VIP customer !!! As a black woman with thick hair, once I told them how I liked my hair, they’ve had it on point ever since. This is a growing family owned business so you’ll get to know the whole family as you come back each time. They have very good pricing for doobie, deep conditioner wash with flat iron set, that’s my regular. And when it’s time to clip ends, they DO NOT chop your hair only snip off just enough so you can enjoy your new growth. I love this place !! You gotta come check it out for yourself 👏🏽
