The Curl Bar Salon

I’ve been going to this salon for years and it is always a clean, vibrant, family-friendly space. Shamere and her team are kind, caring, and full of positive energy. The service is personal, the wait is never long, and the styles, my favorite the flat twist updo—is always on point.

Shamere is excellent especially with my 8 year old daughter’s hair. She is gentle on my daughter’s tender head and works really quick. I definitely see improvement in my daughter’s hair thickness, length and moisture since starting with Shamere a year ago. I also really like that she is able to do various hairstyles. Often hair stylists only want to flat iron or straighten hair but Shamere creates hair styles that helps my daughter embrace her natural texture with minimal heat.

I have to say that my wife and I have been in Atlanta, GA for 6 years and just found the best salon for our kids. We are so happy and best to have The Curl Bar Salon doing our children's hair. They are the BEST salon in Atlanta, GA to us.

Y’all, get in here, get in here and let me tell you about my stylist! I never, NEVER (yes, I knocked on wood, because mama didn’t raise no fool) but never ever leave wondering if my hair has been over processed or under cared for because Shamere takes excellent care of my natural tresses! It has been 10 years since I first tried color treatment. That experience was not the best, so I waited until I found a stylist I could trust with my natural hair, and I have been trusting Shamere since 2017! Just check out the photos!

What stood out the most was how patient and gentle they were with my child during her appointment—they made the whole experience enjoyable for her, which is rare to find. The stylists are highly skilled and took such care with her natural hair, leaving it looking amazing and healthy.
