I’ve been getting my hair cut by Emmanuel for the past four years, and I couldn’t recommend him more. He’s super accommodating, professional, and consistently does a great job. Emmanuel is not only skilled but also a great guy who makes every appointment easy and enjoyable.

I’ve been coming here for about five years, and I can honestly say Emmanuel is the best haircut experience I’ve had, including many fancy salons in NYC. He’s extremely professional, friendly, and always makes the whole experience comfortable and easy. Every appointment starts on time, and he’s always been flexible when I’ve needed to schedule or adjust, even staying late for me when my schedule gets demanding,. The shop is clean, welcoming, and well run, and the quality of the haircut is consistently excellent. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and pays attention to the details. He remembers exactly how I like my hair every month with out needing to remind him anything. Awful haircut experience. Awful! I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for a different barber. He did not fade my hair well at all. I still had a well defined line that was not blended/faded. Update 03/08/2026 The owner posted a public statement and this is my response; The owner was incredibly condescending when I voiced my concerns and he actually blamed me for the issue that I had which was very strange? I do not understand how you can ask for a service and be bullied into believing that you somehow did something wrong when you were simply trying to communicate a concern. The owner had a false outlook on what actually occurred and I am asking the community on the Upper East Side to reconsider their choice of this establishment when chosing a barber. As a lifetime New Yorker, Emmanuel is without a doubt the all time best barber on I’ve ever been to in the city (and the nicest dude around). If you’re on the UES, look no further, hidden gem.
