The Beauty Spot

Today I called to get some information and spoke with Sue. She was the most pleasant person. It made my day speak with her.

So happy to have become acquainted with this hidden gem! Unassuming being nestled in the Sunset shopping center, the salon is a treat to walk into, and the staff was all very friendly. Elizabeth was a pleasure, listened to what I was looking for, and gave me a very detailed and thorough haircut! Very impressed. After trying numerous salons, I’ve found my spot!

Worst pedicure ever. Nail tech asked if I wanted my nails shorter, I said no. She proceeded to cut them super short, and clipped into the sides back to the quick. Fast path to ingrown toenails! Looks like I have circles on my big toe. My nails grow very slowly so it will take a year for me to recover from this. The tech's name started with a T (Trudy?). Never again!

Love the beauty spot! Hair, nails and skin care. Everyone there is great! Grace is the person to see for eye brows, eyebrow tint, skincare etc. I always look forward to my appointments with her!

I needed a haircut and style. I usually go to a few different salons in the Vernon Hills area. This particular day I didn’t feel like driving from Lake Forest. I used to go to a place in Lake Forest called The Beauty Spot many years ago. I forgot about and went on line. I made an appt on line. That is a great time saving feature. It has since moved to a much better location with lots of parking on Waukegan near Sunset Foods in Lake Forest. I walked in and to my surprise it felt as if I had just walked into a really high end city salon. It’s very airy like a warehouse and open. I noticed too how clean the floors were too.
