The Beauty Bar

The owner took me on short notice for a cut and color. Her name is Cori and she took her time asking me what I wanted and answering all my questions. She was just all around really cool to hang with for a couple of hours. Her shop is awesome, I love the cut, the color and the beautiful way she styled it for me. I ran into one of her kids at the store the next day and they said, "My mom did your hair yesterday" "It looks really nice". I don't know how much she pays her kids to dole out these compliments, but it's not enough!😉

I had such a wonderful time at the Beauty Bar Salon! My stylist was Meghann and she is truly a master at her craft! She listened carefully to what I wanted and gave me a result that was even better than I imagined. The atmosphere of the salon is so relaxing, and I left feeling refreshed and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Disappointed and uncomfortable experience – would not recommend I’ve been to this salon a few times, hoping things would improve, but each visit has gotten worse. The atmosphere is unprofessional—stylists openly bad-mouth other clients and even other local salons. It made me really uncomfortable. If they talk like that in front of you, you have to wonder what they say about you when you're not around. The final straw was my most recent visit. I got highlights and they completely fried my hair. I ended up having to cut off twice as much as I originally wanted just to salvage the damage. When I tried to speak to the owner, Cori, she was dismissive and rude, and told me not to come back. I left feeling extremely disappointed and disrespected. As soon as I walked in the door I knew I would I was in the right place. Instantly felt comfortable and welcomed. Cori was wonderful. She is doing me a HUGE solid covering a tattoo for my wedding. She showed me her really nice kit and even walked me through all the steps since I voiced I was going to school for esthetician and makeup. Very happy with my experience and she has eased so much anxiety for my upcoming wedding.
