The Beatnik Barbershop

I literally never leave comments but my experience with Leaf at this barbershop was amazing. They are incredibly talented and a true visionary. I had no idea what I wanted to get but they gave me a haircut perfect for my face shape.

Really wanted to love this place. Read a bunch of positive reviews and decided it was worth a shot. It was recommended to me as a queer friendly space, but when I tell you this barber did me so dirty... I feel conflicted leaving a poor review because I was greeted warmly, and all of the other barbers in the place seemed to be kind and very talented. This man (the one with glasses from the review below) walked in seconds before my name was called and proceeded to sharply ask why I'm here. After showing a few reference photos and asking if that would be possible with my hair type, he said "we'll see what we can do" When he turned me around I was extremely dissatisfied. When I asked what the difference was between the photos I showed, and my hair, he said "well the photos are shorter." So I

I have been going to Beatnik for over a year now, and I have had nothing but good experiences. It’s a comfortable, unintimidating shop with super friendly + incredibly talented staff. I always book with Leaf, and they listen to what I want and always deliver!! Best barbershop I have ever been to. The vibes are good, the staff have incredible skill, and I always leave with a haircut that folks will be complimenting for weeks!!

What an amazing shop! Brittany and her team go above and beyond, it’s more than just a haircut! Brittany has been taking care of my boys hair, and we NEVER leave disappointed! They are always smiling and having a great time with her! You can’t ask for a better experience. You are missing out if you haven’t visited this gem!

I have been coming to Bestnik for years. The level of professionalism is unbeatable. They always try to do their best to fit you in if it’s last minute, but don’t confuse that they aren’t busy. They are booked often for a reason. You won’t be disappointed. You can give feedback about more or less off and it is truly a collaborative work to get exactly what you want on your head.
