Teri is a miracle worker! I would give her 10 stars if I could. Her myofascial massage has changed my life, quite literally. I went in a year after an ACL replacement left me unable to fully straighten or bend my knee, causing it to tear the new ACL. I was limping and suffering from pain and inflammation that caused other issues due to poor walking. Neither PT, chiropractic, shots, nor exercises had helped. From session one, her intuitive, hands on, evidence based work found the root causes of my knee dysfunction, and after several sessions, she has brought me back to full function. I met Teri a little over seven or eight years ago after being referred to her by another massage therapist. I've tried other massage therapists since but I have to say that none - NONE - have outdone or outshined Teri. I've always come back. Why? Teri's hands-on approach is crafted to my specific needs as someone with several thoroughly diagnosed medical conditions that affect my connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, fascia, etc.). Teri's myofascial release techniques are well honed and speak to the level of effort she puts into her continuing education. I think the fact that she was a PTA before she was a massage therapist really lends itself to her treatments. Teri is an expert in her abilities to analyze and treat issues relating to my scoliosis, knee replacement recovery, and helping to prevent another knee replacement. It is amazing to me how Teri is able to determine where exactly to address. I always leave her feeling less pain, straighter, posture, and techniques on how to carry myself in order to maintain progress.

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars! Teri's abilities are so unique and amazing. I came across NoferTea after searching "deep tissue massage near me," but after my extremely informative session, I came to release that what Teri does is actually myofascial release. She really takes time to dive into the root cause of WHY I might be having certain tightness/ pain, and delve into certain habits or injuries that may have caused them. After just one session, Teri was able to identify many of my chronic ailments that i've been suffering with for at least 5 years. I left my session feeling next to no pain or tightness in the areas she worked on- areas that I have had tightness and pain in for years without relief. I am so grateful to have found her and look forward to going back.

Teri is the best bodyworker I have found in Baltimore. She treats your injury or pain with a critical mind and global considerations. She continually seeks further education and experience and brings it to her practice. I recommend her for anyone -- literally anyone. Go see her!
