The Barber Shop

This was my first time here, and Scott did a great job and was pleasant and easy to talk to. He was very accommodating when I had to make a last-minute change to my appointment time. I like his fun and funky old barber shop; a real throwback to a bygone era. Most importantly, my wife was pleased with my haircut when I got home. That's a real win-win!

Went to Scott not only due to his location to my home, but I was in the market for someone to take care of my hair after the unexpected passing of my friend and barber I had for 10 years. I tried a chain and was not satisfied with the experience. Scott did a great job and made pleasant conversation while doing so. I Recommend.

Me and my 4 year old son started going to Scott about 6 months ago, and I will NEVER go anywhere else, ( after the horrible experience we had at a big chain hair salon company located in Hartford ). Me and junior go every other month for our haircuts. I recommend Scott to anyone. The first time we went there, my son just sat there, and got his haircut with no problems.

Recently discovered this place, and it's definitely my new barbershop. Got a great haircut, even trimmed the old eyebrows (didn't even know that was a barber thing). The atmosphere was great too, actually even got some good career advice (the other customers happened to be teachers as well). Looking forward to my next visit. Oh and it looks cool - old fashioned too

The Barber Shop is a great place for men to get their hair cut. Scott, the owner, is everything you look for in a barber. He is great with men's hair, a good conversationalist, and friendly. Rates are in line for our area, so not too pricey. Give him a try!
