A unique barber shop experience! Mindy, the owner/stylist is a great conversationalist and a skilled stylist. Went in as a walk-in, on a Wednesday morning, and there was a wait - 3 guys before me (about an hour) - but worth it! Here’s why I recommend this place: 1. The place: comfy vibes with a rustic charm. Unique games and decor as well to pass time. 2. Mindy: a great person to talk to. Provides a platform for you to network with other people. 3. Value: Mindy is skilled, knows how to do a proper fade and has great attention to detail. Don’t doubt it if you’re an international student. Also, it’s $23 for a walk-in cut, which is competitively priced. 4. Located at a 2min walk from the North Amherst Centre bus stop (31, 33) - easy approach for students without a car.

A magical experience! Mindy makes you feel at home! There are giant bubbles to play with outside and the shop is filled with so many toys and games! She let the kids pick out treats after the haircut. It was just such a wonderful day! We did a walk-in, so plan to be there for a while, but you won't be bored! You'll have the most fun time! There were hidden dragons and treasures around the shop for me and my kids to find. We just had the best day!

My very favorite barber (and shop) of all time…and I’m 80! Mindy has been in business a long time and just moved to a bigger place around the corner from her old shop…more room to wait inside and listen to the locals lively chatting with Mindy. Her place is very welcoming with her interesting collections scattered throughout and her giant dog awaiting attention. And…she’s a natural born barber who always gives me a great haircut…confirmed by my wife every time. Her prices are competitive, and there’s a senior discount! I look forward to my visits and don’t mind the wait if I do a walk-in instead of by appointment. Best of all - she’s a blast to be with.
