I came in for a curly cut with Alexis and she took great care of me! 10/10! I was in town for a vacation and desperately needed a haircut. I was a bit nervous trusting a new stylist with my hair but the breakage I had in my hair, plus how dry it felt pushed me to get a haircut somewhere new. Alexis put me at ease from the moment I sat in her chair. I really appreciated that before jumping to cut my hair, she took the time to talk with me and assess my hair. At other salons I’ve been to, this little consult lasts maybe 3 minutes max, but I feel like Alexis really took her time to hear how I wanted to keep my length, what I wanted to do with my front pieces, and then made suggestions that made sense with my goals. I met with Alexis right before my birthday for a new hairdo, had never honored my curls much and she was so informative, taught me the best ways to take consistent care of my hair in a new way and kept in touch with me after the appointment. I would highly recommend coming here if you’ve never really known how to wear your curly hair, or wanted to wear it differently. This salon honors natural curls, curl cuts and I had a blast. I had a fantastic experience with Alexis! After some serious haircut trauma in the past, I’m always nervous in the chair but she really put me at ease. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and explained every step in full detail. Easily the best haircut I’ve had in years. You can tell she genuinely cares about her craft and her clients. Worth every penny!

I’m leaving this place because at first I used to love coming here and getting my haircut by Cecily, but I was given a referral to a girl to dye my hair with very much reluctance because I’m very particular about my hair. That being said when a client wants to back out of something, you should let them so that they don’t have to be unhappy with the product. I still ended up paying for a hair dye that I ended up crying about you could see that I’m unhappy about in the picture from the day that I got home. I took this photo. When I got a bad hair dye instead of the company, getting me a free haircut and hydration too you know onset the fact that my hair at the bottom was completely dead. I paid for a new haircut to get it all cut out. In total around $600 ! But it didn’t completely come o

If you’ve never had a curly cut and you have wavy or curly hair DO IT!! I had Alexis as my stylist, she was very knowledgeable and skilled and I left feeling super happy with my new look and excited to heal and care for my hair properly. This is an entire education that you will not find online or on social media. Your hair will thank you after! I’ve tried for many years and had a product mix of ‘curly hair products’ (not cheap ones mind you) hair masks, and hair growth oils all in the attempt to keep my hair hydrated, healthy, and looking nice. Little did I know these products were actually drying out and damaging my hair. Thankfully the professionals at this salon are here to help us curly / wavy girls - can’t recommend enough!
