Hi I never review but I wanted to give them a shoutout for being my favorite massage place and their awesome price that’s remained the same after a year of living here. Helps me give a generous tip! My third time coming and I forget her name but Wanda massaged me the third time and I’m assuming everyone who works there listens to what area you need help with, has deep tissue pressure and walks on your thighs or back if you’re a guy and if you like that. I’m reading some reviews saying they were sore after and that’s exactly how I want to feel after a massage lol my standard is high, my mom is a masseuse of 30 years and I’ve been to hundreds of massages and paid $100+ for it to be just a relaxing style massage after I ask for hard pressure. Thai Friendly Massage is an Echo Park staple!! I’ve have been to many massages around LA and this is truly one of the best. These women are kind and intuitive and TALENTED! Michelle is UNBELIEVABLE at her job. I was walked on, cracked every which way, but also treated with care, given tiger balm for my tighter areas, and left walking on air.

This is the best massage I have ever received that wasn’t from a super expensive physiotherapist. Nong is not only super lovely, she is highly trained. She cares about helping you and fixing your pain. I have excruciating back pain as well as TMJ, and without me even telling her she massaged my face/jaw and it feels better for the first time in years. You will not find a better massage in LA at these prices. This place is the real deal.

This is the best Thai massage place in town. They are so kind and knowledgeable about the body. 90 min massage is really worthy. Michelle is a rockstar and the best masseuse I’ve met.

For reference, I am in my 30s and healthy. Based on other reviews, I think the quality of the masseuses vary substantially at this location. As a comparison, I know an exceptional deep tissue masseuse in Ventura (Amy at Tai Chi Massage), so that is the standard I measure by. My sense was that the masseuse I had at Thai Friendly possessed very little or maybe no interest in their job. Low quality. Being entirely honest, I think maybe she was tired, lazy or just unqualified. I paid to be polite, but I don't think the experience was worth any amount of money. I think deep tissue and Thai massages are more difficult to do well. Perhaps this place does Swedish better, or maybe a different masseuses would have been great. Who knows. To customers: I strongly suggest that you do not let people
