Tao's - Chinatown

Overall I enjoyed my experience shopping here. They have a really great selection of skincare products and I bought a few that I ended up liking…and I would be open to returning in the future. One thing I did notice is I was being followed around the store by an employee who was monitoring me. I believe I was being followed to ensure I wasn’t stealing anything, which i understand many businesses want to avoid theft. It just made me uncomfortable and it was difficult for me to concentrate on my shopping experience. I probably would have bought more items, but due to the constant following I was uncomfortable and felt pressured to cut my shopping experience short so I headed straight to checkout. A nice store that has a good collection of gifts, cosmetic, snacks, and household items. similar to a Walgreens. Lots of stuff, so the aisles can feel a bit crowded. Staff will help if asked.

the snacks here are really great! Ive been visiting taos more often to buy gifts mostly and its just such a great place in general! workers here are very nice and friendly as well. i’ll be coming more often ❤️🥹

Worst customer service ever. I bought a blush from them and got the most insane allergic reaction. While this is not the store fault, when I went the day after with the receipt and the product to return it/exchange it they were not open to work with me to return a product I will not be able to use. Important to highlight that when I bought the product I was not made aware that they have a “no return policy” since they have “testers”. Mind you the testers are products that are touched all over, products that no one should be putting on their faces. Buy your products online directly from the brands where at least you will be able to return a product that causes you harm.

I love your store it is clean and the employees are very kind and helpful and you have a huge selection of my favorite products that I love thank you 🙏
