Tanning Spa NYC

30-min wait times to get checked in. Understaffed. I bought a 2-week tanning special. Over half the times I showed up, there was a sign on the chair saying that they were airbrushing another client and to take a seat. I ended up waiting anywhere from 15-30 minutes each time before I was able to start my tanning session which only took them 10 seconds to put into the system. This place is a complete time sink. Only come if you want your time wasted. They could easily put a "Return Time" on the sign (those clock signs have existed for decades!) so at least customers know how long the wait is and whether they're better of just coming back later. The only place to tan in Manhattan in my opinion. The owner is beyond lovely. So important to support a small business these days! Organized, clean, hot bulbs. They always give the best advice on which beds to do first. I walk away with the most fabulous tan every time. Highly recommend!

This place is a scam. I spent over $60 for a single tanning session and was very disappointed. The bulbs in the bed weren’t even hot, and 1/3 of them were burnt out. When I came back and tried a “stronger bed”, the owner still charged me full price but refused to let me tan for the full time, saying the bulbs were “new” even after I explained that I tan regularly. It feels unfair to pay full price but not receive the full service. Between the weak bulbs and the restrictive policies, it came across more like a scam than a professional salon, which might be why they’re now rebranding under a different name than what’s shown on Google. I got no color and I wasted over $120 SKIP THIS SCAM.

I really like their bed tanning, from the ones I’ve tried in NYC area, is by far the best. Great team. Clean and cozy space.
