Tiffany is the best! Our daughter has a very sensitive scalp and Tiffany was extremely gentle and patient. This was our daughter’s first appointment at Taji’s and Tiffany was professional and developed a great rapport with our little one. She will be in Tiffany’s chair until she decides to retire lol.
As always my experience was EXCELLENT. The salon is clean, light and airy. My stylist asked important questions about my hair health and my style preferences. My shampoo was thoroughly and left my scalp feeling great. And my twist style was exactly what I wanted/expected.
I had my microlocs installed last month, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. Clarissa is extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure everything is done correctly. The quality of her work speaks for itself. She is truly the best, and I highly recommend her to anyone considering microlocs.
I tried Taji Salon because a friend recommended it, and while my first visit ended with decent service, the experience left me uneasy. I arrived on time but wasn’t greeted, and had to wait over 30 minutes past my appointment before the stylist started. The service itself was fine, but the lack of professionalism stood out. On my second visit, things went downhill. I booked an 8 AM Saturday appointment two days in advance, only to be asked less than 24 hours before to move it to 9 AM. I agreed, but later that same day I was told the stylist might not be available at all, and maybe they could fit me in around 11. The person on the phone questioned the package I booked—even though it was the same one I had used before—and their tone felt dismissive, as if I was the inconvenience. Since they
Wouldn’t recommend. Genuinely don’t understand the point of making an appointment, when the stylist is going to be 30-1hr late!! It’s unprofessional. Especially as a salon that specializes in black girl hair and black culture. It’s truly a disappointment as a community. Be on time for the appointment that we are paying for. Easy. The lack effort given into my hairstyle, even after paying for a consultation a week prior to. It’s really ridiculous. Appointment starts at 1. Don’t get into the chair until 3 almost. Didn’t get out until 6:30. (I see this a trend amongst the majority of there other reviews as well). Everyone else is gone because they close at 6!!!! Just bad all around. No time consideration at all!
