Svelte Barbershop + Essentials

Came in here for a straight razor shave only. My barber was nice but left huge portions of my face and neck unshaved. I left with trimmed hair still all over my face. Kinda embarrassed after having this experience and going out all evening

Best haircut of my life!! Highly recommend Marvin! The haircut + hot towel combo is very well worth it. I’m from Toronto and just recently moved to LA so I’ve tried a couple barbershops but nothing compares to Svelte. I really appreciated how friendly everyone at the shop was and they’re all the true definition of professionals I got my work done by Marvin Lynn Smith and man did he get me right! Surgical precision with his cuts and lineups. Will definitely be back. Happy I found my go to shop in LA

Blake is simply the best barber I’ve ever had in LA. With 18 years of experience under his belt, he expertly transforms my hair and beard every time to make me my most confident self. He’s incredibly sweet, friendly, funny, and for lack of a better word, just really cool! I always look forward to my haircuts with him.

Generally I don’t get haircuts very often. I came here and got a great cut from Josh. Very easy to talk to and he did a great job trimming my long caveman hair and beard. I come here because they have a great staff, I’ve gotten a cut from a different pro each time and they’ve all been great! Come through, spend the money and you won’t be disappointed.

Miguel was FANTASTIC! Both him and Nick are great guys! I just moved from Boston, and these guys are the best I’ve ever met. Highly recommend! The cut was perfect, and they were professional and kind. 👍👍
