Going to have my hair done at Surf Girl with l Lisa as my stylist has been life changing. Began seeing Lisa when I was thinking of going grey, and she walked me through every step of the way with the confidence and expertise that I needed. Never did I question it, as she knows how to blend color and compliment it with an excellent cut. I get so many compliments on the color of my hair all the time now. Also, Because my hair is thick and straight, I felt really limited as far as new styles I could play with. As a stylist with great layering and shaping skills, she helps me create new looks with ease. Lisa is my hair goddess!

Hands down the best stylist I have ever been to. I was referred to Lisa by a friend of mind and I am so grateful. Lisa took the time to talk to me about my type of hair and set realistic expectations; my hair was damaged and I would need to take some time to get it healthy again before doing certain treatments. She gave me a treatment plan and it worked! She is so knowledgeable and shares without being judgmental or condescending. She is great with color, I always get tons of compliments on my hair color. Her salon is cute, very clean and just a good vibe. Lisa herself is kind, compassionate, smart, and articulate. I love our conversations when I get to escape there. I would highly recommend Surf Girl Hair, she’s the best!

I was unsure about letting my hair grow out to its natural gray color. With Lisa’s expertise, she transitioned my dark brown hair to my natural gray color. She blended my hair with grayish highlights as my hair was growing out. It looked so natural that no knew that my hair was growing out. I was very pleased with her excellent skills in taking me through the process. I would highly recommend Lisa if you are thinking of going to your natural gray color.

Her personality and attitude make the 4 hour makeover feel like a 30 minute pamper. When I first started coming to Lisa, my hair was in really bad shape. It was overly bleached and had turned orange. Lisa completely corrected the color and brought my hair back to life. Not only did she fix the tone beautifully, but she has continued to maintain my hair so it stays healthy and the color always looks fresh and natural. I also absolutely love the haircut she gives me, it’s flattering and easy to manage. Seeing Lisa is truly a joy, and I look forward to my appointment with her every month.
