Everyone was very friendly, the shop is extremely clean and comfortable, and I got a great haircut. I'm looking forward to my next trim!

Friendly staff but pricey. I had needed a beard line up because I had an event later that night and had just got a haircut 4 days prior so I just needed a quick beard line up so the edges were crisp and it was a monday so not many places are open Monday. So I figured give them a shot. The women proceeded to use the buzzer to line it up and said she was finished took less then 10 mins and I said can you use the straight razor, she did warn me it would be more money which I agreed but no price was mentioned, but I said just do it since I wanted it to look good and that’s what I came there for otherwise I would of just did it myself. Usually anywhere else I go for a beard trim with straight razor is $30 max which I expected to pay but when she rang me up she said it was $50 in which I did a d

Had an excellent experience at this barber shop. Came down last minute and didn’t have time to get a hair cut at home. Brenda did a great job cutting my hair and beard. She took her time and was very friendly to me and my fiance!

Surf City Barber Shop is a gem! Came in for my first haircut and got serviced right away by an interesting lady who pretty much ignored my request and then tried fixing her mid hair job with pomade. Least she knows you can always fix a crappy haircut with pomade right?🙄
