Red Sails Salon

I’ve been a client for years. I’ve never had to wait for my service, change an appointment or have I been disappointed with my haircut. Jen is my stylist and Joanie is always behind the desk. Both ladies make me feel comfortable and like family. I’m so grateful Red Sails is my salon.

I had such a bad experience at this salon. First off, my hair dresser talked down to me calling me “kiddo” and “sweetie” and “honey” when it’s obvious that I am not a child. Next, I had my hair dyed and was left to wait for almost an hour (when I know only 20 minutes is necessary) while my hairdresser cut a whole new customers hair. I had to wait another 20 minutes for my hair to be washed as my hairdresser kept forgetting about me and the washing stations kept becoming filled by the time she remembered. What’s more, once I was finally given the time of day I felt manhandled by rushing hands which made me feel guilty when I asked for a quick touch up. Overall bad service - going to get your hair done is supposed to be special and this experience was far from that.

Fantastic experience! I was very nervous about moving to a new salon after years with another salon. I recently moved to LBI and needed a salon closes to home. I am happy to say that Nancy was amazing. I had full high and low lights, hair cut and blow out. I am officially a fan. Very professional and down to earth. Very hard to find.

For many years I have gotten my hair cuts, coloring, facials, and nails done at Red Sails. I have ALWAYS been pleased with the results and the service I receive. Without hesitation, I would recommend Red Sails. It's the best place on Long Beach Island and within the southern Ocean County area.

Just "discovered" Red Sails Salon a short time ago and I love it! Everyone there is a real professional and I find the atmosphere to be amazingly relaxing. Shout out to Nancy for the best haircut ever -- and I'm talking about super-curly hair.
