Sunset Beach Tanning Salon

I got my first spray tan ever done by Emily and she was incredible. Firstly, the tan came out amazing but most importantly, she was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. Getting a spray tan is a vulnerable experience but not once did I feel judged or any other negative feeling I was worried about. It was one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend coming here for your next spray tan and will be referring friends too! I’ll definitely be back for my next event.

I’ve had a membership at Sunset Beach Tanning for a few years now and can’t imagine going anywhere else. I’ve moved twice in the time I’ve been going and still drove 40+ minutes to go. The salon is always clean, well ventilated, always stocked with a variety of lotions. My favorite beds are in room 1, 3 and 10. Laura the owner is always so kind and personable. She decorates for the holidays and has a client appreciation event every year. I’ve had to put my membership on hold twice and it was such an easy process. There are different membership options or you can pay per visit. I usually just walk-in but you can also make appointments. 10/10 highly recommend Sunset!

Staff here are all very nice and willing to share knowledge and recommendations to help you with your experience. I have recently gotten a membership here and so far so good! The beds all have working bulbs and give you relaxation along with the desired tan that you go there for! I also haven't had much of an issue with cleanliness of the salon or beds that i have used. Beds are typically readily available so i also have not had to wait an extended period of time to tan. I have my favorite three beds already and will continue to come here to tan!

This tanning salon is hands down the best on the island. The owner Laura is so nice & helpful. She changes the bulbs regularly and the salon is very clean. I have been coming to this salon for almost 10 years & though I no longer live or work in the area, I travel 20-30 minutes just to go to this salon. Highly recommend Sunset Beach!

Terrible experience! Very old beds & poor ventilation. I was told I could cancel my membership after three months, which I did the very next day, and I’m still being charged for the upcoming month per the owner, and the next billing cycle isn’t even for over another week! I should have realized why this tanning salon was priced lower than the others around… will definitely not be back, a terrible experience!
