NY Styles Barbershop

I've recommended this shop to my friends (not sure if they went) because it felt professional every time I went there., but man, let me tell you, to mess me up like this? really? I've had good experiences here before, but the other day was extremely disappointing. I've been growing my hair for over a year and only came in to get my beard lined up and cleaned. My barber was Brandon (or Branden). I stopped him from cutting too much off the left side, and he acknowledged it, assuring me he wouldn’t make that mistake again. But when he started on the right side, he ended up cutting even more off. I don’t know if he forgot or if it was accidental (I doubt it was intentional), but he completely ignored what I said. My son couldnt be happier. He is very particular when it comes to his hair which makes going for hair cuts difficult. Not anymore. My son searched and found Josh, who took the time to listen to him, watched some of the TikTok’s showing what he wanted, and then Josh delivered. My son had the perfect cut and style. Leaving, my son said “I found my new place”. He’s looking forward to the next time he needs a haircut. Josh was professional and friendly. Couldn’t imagine a better experience.

I wish I could’ve given this place a zero. They do not follow their own rules for walk ins. Sat in this place for 3 hours and they chose everyone else that walked in ahead of us. I really hate to make this a race issue, it’s my fault. Never again. Be careful when choosing this place. Plenty of others and more reputable locations elsewhere.

Tori aka FadedBraidzz is truly a gem in this industry! She’s extremely accommodating, crazy talented, and her prices are more than fair for the quality of work she delivers. On top of that, her personality is unmatched—warm, professional, and genuine. I love getting my hair braided by her and would definitely recommend her !!

It was an awesome atmosphere the people were really nice got EXACTLY what I wanted probably my new barber shop was really cheap too
