Customer Reviews
This place is okay for the price, but it really depends on who you get. I had Tina (red blouse, Chanel pin). At first, she came across as friendly and goofy, but that was mostly a tactic to upsell extra services. When I declined, she slapped my feet “playfully,” which felt more mocking than funny. She also pressured me for a tip, glaring over my shoulder to see how much I was giving—very uncomfortable. During the massage, she was invasive, staring me up and down and eyeing my jewelry, and the massage itself brought my leg cramps back. I asked for round nails, but she pushed almond. The result? Out of 10 nails, only 3 looked almond-shaped. The rest were an inconsistent mix of pointy and round. Bottom line: my money is my money. The service felt pushy, invasive, and unprofessional.
I’m currently doing a pedicure right now and I had to give a review. First time coming here and I’m so impressed by the AFFORDABILITY and the quality of care they’ve been taking. Not only do they give a pedicure but a full massage, paying close attention to detail with exfoliating and cleaning feet. I haven’t had that level of service on the island since the 2000s and they salons charge more for less service. Definitely coming back!
My first time there, I got a great manicure at Sunny Nails. All the people that work there are friendly. They even have one girl that just does nail designs. She is excellent at it. Helen did a beautiful job on my nails. I am definitely going to return to Sunny Nails!
I’ve been a customer since this salon opened and I appreciate their fair pricing. That said, there are a few things that could be improved. Choosing a polish color often feels rushed, and when it’s busy, they may work on your manicure and pedicure simultaneously, which takes away from the relaxing experience. Additionally, at checkout, staff occasionally stand nearby waiting for a tip, which can feel a bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately, my pedicure was uneven, messy, and my experience has declined over time, so I will no longer be returning.
I’ve been going to this nail salon for the past 5 years as a regular customer and they have always provided excellent service. Helen is my go-to manicurist (she’s also the owner) and she’s always been so kind to all her customers! She knows everyone who walks through the door, which shows that their customers keep coming back! Helen has always been helpful when I needed help selecting a nail color. Recently, I started trying nail art and the manicurist Janeel (not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly) does such an amazing job! (See photos) Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new nail salon!
