Sunny nails

I stepped inside, every employee glanced up, none offered a hello, so I broke the ice myself. The pedicure felt harsh, left me with a tiny cut; the moment I muttered "ow" they swapped into Mandarin among themselves, ignoring me. The manicure did not redeem things: a single nail sits crooked, a few wobble, the acrylic looks bulky, sticky glue rims the cuticles and lurks beneath. When I inquired about the 3% debit/credit card fee the crew again turned to one another, no answer given. They rang the pedicure and manicure separately, charging that fee twice. All told this visit was careless, chilly, and far from worth the cost ($48 pedicure, $65 manicure plus tip).

I had a great first time experience with an SNS powder dip manicure and special pedicure with Winnie. She was very thorough and kind and I will definitely be back! I just switched from another nail salon and I definitely like Sunny better. I also think the employees are treated better here than at other Kingston salons. It seems like the customers have more of a relationship with the employees! Everyone was raving about Wendy while I was there, but I’m very happy with Winnie! She did a lovely 10 minute massage too!

Please do not go here if you want your eyebrows waxed by the taller, skinny lady with a short Bob. I got my eyebrows done and she completely took off my top arch and make my beautiful eyebrows straight and thin. I talked to another girl who had the same thing done by the same lady. For nails I love going here but I will never get my eyebrows waxed here again because they were ruined

Paid $93 for a gel mani and pedi. I try to go two weeks between getting them done. Never had nails done where the gel is this far from the cuticle. Looks like they were done a week ago. Overpriced and I’ll have to get my nails done again in 1 week. Won’t be back.

I took my mom for a manicure and sadly she barely received one due to intense rushing. No skin care, one coat of polish, barely 10min. It was clear they were completing her manicure quick to get to the next. Very disappointing when I wanted to do something nice for her. We left before my manicure started.
