Loved my bridal experience at Sunbear! We had food catered in from Brickhouse to the event space, which was super convenient, and the event space was so nice to hang out in with the girls while we waited to get our various services done. There were 8 of us in total getting hair & makeup done and Missy the event coordinator was super helpful in scheduling all the services with different providers while keeping us on time. Haley did my makeup, as well as my maid of honors' and it was perfect! I had booked a makeup trial in advance and she took my feedback / makeup vision and expanded upon it, while making sure it lasted the whole night (photos for proof!). I visited this salon for the first time and had such a great experience! My stylist, Sam, was absolutely amazing. I came in wanting a balayage but wasn’t totally sure about the look I wanted, and she took the time to talk through options and help me figure out exactly what would work best for my hair. The end result was perfect—natural, bright, and exactly what I had hoped for (and more!). The whole atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing too. I’ll definitely be coming back to see Sam again!

I’ve been coming here for about 6 months for the massages. I’m very picky, I like a medium-firm amount of pressure and every time I’ve seen Kelin, I’m blown away by her massages. I actually fall asleep and come out with a better mood, EVERY TIME!! For Valentine’s Day, I gifted my husband a massage with Kelin and chose Olivia as my masseuse. I’m just as blown away by Olivia’s pressure and touch as Kelin’s so I’ve found two super stars here!! My husband fell asleep during his massage (he never falls asleep at other places) so I know the masseuses are masters at their craft. Give them a shot. Olivia and Kelin are my go-to gals!!

I really like my stylist & facialist at Sunbear, but I find their front desk staff invasive and clueless. Apparently even though you’ve scheduled an appointment for one of their spa services you’ll need to check in multiple times or they will hunt you down and speak to you at a volume that would be more appropriate for a rock concert vs a spa waiting room other patrons. A bit of customer service and self awareness goes a long way.

It saddens me to leave this review, but I paid for my high school student who is the sweetest girl with autism and social anxiety to have her first haircut at a salon. She didn't know what to expect, but she wanted to be brave and go by herself, but sadly the cut was very lazy and with minimal effort. The stylist had no interest in doing a good job. My student's split ends weren't cut off, she wasn't asked her opinion on anything, just the length was cut and she was sent on her way. It was shameful to be honest. A bargain haircut establishment would have performed with better service.
