Driftwood Sauna

This is a hidden gem! Driftwood sauna is clean and serene with steam! The different types of wood burning inside and outside by the campfire was great. (Maple + Red Oak) Kalli had the fires going nicely and the eucalyptus ice towel was good. The picture window inside over looking the setting sun in the nature center was relaxing. It felt great afterwards a perfect close by getaway budget friendly and good company will be back, fully enjoyed this experience.

Amy is great host and has created a wonderful community sauna experience. I love the large picture window facing the beautiful pine trees, the campfire, benches, and lights outside to enjoy while cooling off. The ability to go inside to refill a water bottle or to change are all nice additions. I heard that sometimes frozen washcloths with an essential oil to cool off with are an option for some special saunas, and am interested

Twice last year and four times this season I have used Driftwood Sauna 75 minute sessions. All of my visits went quite well and I felt very refreshed and relaxed after each session. In one occasion, my wife also joined. The group sessions are also fun where you meet new people. The available water spreader over the burning stove also adds more heat as needed. I've booked a sauna many times at Driftwood and it's always a great experience. Sauna is clean, and I love it's quiet location at a nature center. When you need to cool off, you can sit by the fire and enjoy the scenery. Water for dousing is provided, and there are hooks outside the sauna for your robe or extra towel. It's a true sauna gem for the northern suburbs.

Driftwood Sauna is a treasure! The sauna is very nice, well-maintained and clean. The host is lovely, and has excellent customer service. The sauna has a big window overlooking the nature center for a relaxing view. There is a little fire and chairs outside to enjoy while taking breaks during your session. Highly recommend!
