Sun Tan City

Everyone who works here is so nice all the time. You don’t see this anymore. I walked in 10 minutes before closing yesterday in which I normally would never do, I thought it stayed open later, but both girls said don’t even worry about it in the nicest way possible. (Yari and Allison) These days every where u go stop taking people hour before or just have attitudes or so many other things. It’s a well ran establishment. Thanks ladies!

Honestly, while I love the spray tans that I get here, the individuals who work here ruin it for me. I was waiting for over 2 hours, while people who checked in online walked right in. My mother and I asked the lady at the front desk 2-3 times about the order as we getting frustrated that we were waiting this long; usually when we go here, it is right in and out. The lady began raising her voice, to the point I asked her nicely to please treat paying customers with respect, as you in a customer service job. She snapped back and said “ I’m treating you with disrespect” then she walked away.

My brother was getting married the Saturday after July 4th and I was wanting to get a spray tan on July 4. I called Sun Tan City weeks in advance to make sure they would be open. The girl who answered the phone checked their calendar, then told me they would be open. But when I showed up on July 4 to get my spray tan, they were closed. Either the girl who picked up the phone misrepresented something to me, or the owner decided to close for July 4 at the last minute. Either option is unprofessional and puts people out.

My favorite sun place! Oh how I miss you❤️ but I will be back in Maine someday and then I will visit you again, but for now I will enjoy the local Sun Tan City! Having been in VA for 14 months and not able to use this company I am thrilled to be in a location that has STC!

If you want a spray tan, don’t come here. The nozzles in the booths spray you with dots all over your body (needs replacing) and no matter what color undertone you pick it comes out grey looking. Worst spray tan I’ve ever had, but the staff are very friendly and understanding.
