Summer Hours Salon

I have been going to Amanda for over 10 years, we first met and she did a full color correction on a botched service and i've never looked back. I have followed her for years and love coming to see her most at Summer Hours salon, its cozy and incredibly convenient.

I’ve been seeing Amanda for 2 years now. This last year, I was pregnant and had a newborn so it’s been 10 months since I had my hair colored by her. The grow out has been beautiful. I’ve been getting blonde highlights for half my life and have always had somewhat of a grow out line, even if it was blended or softened. Somehow, when Amanda does my hair, I don’t have any line at all. In the 10 months since I last saw her, I’ve gone to other stylists (closer to my house) for blowouts. They consistently compliment the color and can’t believe how long it’s been. Can’t recommend her enough. I also drive an hour each way to see her! That should tell you all you need to know in LA!!

Recently went to Rebecca for the first time and had such a great experience. Not only did she give me a wonderful cut, but she was great to be around and showed me how to style my hair moving forward. The environment in the studio is also lovely and relaxing. I'll definitely be coming back!

Rebecca is amazing! She consistently gives me the best cuts—thoughtful, flattering, and exactly what I need every time. She really listens and understands how to work with your hair's natural texture, and the result always feels fresh and easy to maintain. The salon itself is cozy and welcoming, and Rebecca brings such a calm, friendly energy that makes the whole experience feel relaxing and personal. Highly recommend her!

I've been getting my hair colored by Amanda at Summer Hours since they opened! My hair has never been healthier and I get compliments on my color for months and months after my appointments. Amanda is a true professional at her craft and it is obvious she continues to hone her skill to offer her clients the best of the best! The salon itself is so cute, clean, and not chaotic at all (like so many other salons around LA). Street parking is a breeze although I recommend arriving early on street cleaning days, duh.
