Suite Reyad Salon

After being a client of Suite Reyad for over four to five years, I have never experienced such dismissive and unprofessional treatment from a business that presents itself as a luxury salon. I traveled over three hours from Port Jefferson into Manhattan for a 4:30 PM appointment. I arrived at approximately 4:50 PM, only to be told that the stylist had already left because the staff “assumed I wasn’t coming.” What is unbelievable is that no one from the salon attempted to call or text to check whether I was on my way — something that would have taken seconds and could have easily prevented this situation. I am writing this review because everyone should know what a terrible "luxury" salon this is. I have been coming to Suite Reyad for about two years now. In this time, I have been waiting for my hair to grow out from an above shoulder length to longer length where I can cut layers. I have been wanting to see Hos from day 1, but my hair was just too short to do anything. Gianni did my first hair cut which was a corrective blunt cut. He fixed many problems which I am grateful for (he is also a wonderful person), but follow up cuts were not great (over textured with shears when my hair - fine and medium density - needs carving and slide cuts). Marissa is the absolute best at the salon. Always does my hair to a tea and is the best to have done it. My hair is so healthy after coloring and I swear it’s like getting my hair done with my best friend. Appreciate all the work they do at the salon. So efficient!
