Customer Reviews
The stylists are very knowledgeable and willing to help overwhelmed parents with hair care. They actually teach classes so parents know how to care for hair. Our child had damaged hair when we started working with Tameika. It is not just a salon, but also a welcoming community. Our child goes between flattening and braiding with stylists excellent with both styles.
The world wouldn’t be the same without the unconditional and relentless efforts Styles 4 Kids do for such a vulnerable population. Everyone involved including the donors may have their personal reasons for putting in the work but I’m sure we can all agree that it is about the children being given the opportunity to just be kids in a world that is slowly robbing that opportunity from them. I’ve know Tamekia for over a decade and God wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with this mission. I am so grateful she received it and has blessed and inspired a multitude of people around the globe with her gift of caring.
We love Styles 4 Kidz. My son is biracial and living in a suburb majorly lacking diversity, I had no idea who to turn to to help my son with his hair needs. Thankfully, this place was recommended to me by other mothers who had a similar experience. Everyone here is kind and makes my son comfortable. We make the 45 minute - hour drive every time because it is worth it!
Our first experience at the salon was a great one. Ms. Juzzane was so kind and patient with my two-year-old and she did excellent work. We are already planning to return.
The whole reason for me booking the appointment was because I wanted to get my daughters haircut. first the lady was over 30 minutes late and by the time she started working on my daughters hair it was almost an hour after her appointment was supposed to start she did call me to tell me she was going to be 10 minutes late but not 30 and I never got a call after that. and then when my daughter asked her to cut the hair she told her you don’t want to do that I’m just going to trim it then she flat ironed her hair so we change the service but had I have known it was going to cost more I would have said no she didn’t even do a good job flat ironing it as you see the flat iron marks in the back of my daughters hair! I am extremely disappointed as this place is recommended to me. Then she appli
