My stylist Teraneka was running behind but she was pleasant. And the other stylist also seemed nice and helped out at the end when I was wrapping up. I got a pretty good wash which was the main reason I was coming in after just taking down braids. Parking was also pretty easy. But I probably won't be going back. I booked the mini twists so I could have another protective style. She asked me how big I wanted the twists and for how long did I want them to last - I said they don't have to be micros but it would be great to last 2 weeks. Before I left when I did a quick look - they looked fine. Nothing impressive or sleek but seemed okay. The lighting isn't great and if I'm honest I was hungry. I love this place. The owner is so pleasant. I got my hair cut and colored. Its the shortest that I've ever had it cut and I felt secure and confident that I would love it.

I came in from out of town and not having been before, wasn't quite sure how it would go. Turned out great! If you want excellent, personal service, this is *the* place. For those who don't know: 1) they take and do appointments one at a time so you're not going to be sitting there for hours. I was in and out in an hour because they don't play games. One client at a time. Shan was very patient and knowledgeable with all of my questions. She was also kind and intuitive with her mannerisms. I loved the ambiance of her shop. Overall, I had a great experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Alabasta Salon. Shantenekia did my hair and she done such a beautiful job on hair. She listens to her customers and cares about making sure her clients have healthy hair. I will definitely be going back again!
