Studio One Hair Design and Med Spa

I started seeing Tim when he worked at another salon. He left during the pandemic and I didn't realize until later... I had to track him down on Facebook to find out where he had moved to. It felt like a tragedy to lose him, not gonna lie! I see him regularly and so do my boys and my dad. We all love him! I have to book appointments for both my boys otherwise the one left out will throw a fit. I won't let anyone else cut my hair. He's the best.

I had my hair cut and permed by Dawn Lewis at this salon. I asked for a body wave perm (large rollers with the ends left out because I have long hair). She used small, brown rollers and kept the ends in saying my hair was too long to do what I wanted (the internet and other stylists disagree with her). When she cut my hair, she missed entire sections, so I had large strands of hair that we're two inches longer than the rest. The perm was awful: not what I asked for (and she made me feel stupid when I insisted that she do what I ask. She did what she wanted anyway). The cut was awful. I had to get my hair re-cut (another 4 inches) to correct her cut and all the damage she did. The salon did nothing to help me since the stylists are all independent contractors. Stop! Due not go!!! DAWN LEWIS 1st did not know we had an appointment after 3 confirmed with her and then thought it was Saturday when it was Sunday. She then attempted to color my hair and over processed my hair and missed a whole area to color. This is after I had to drive home to wash the color out. Because after 45 minutes she kept on saying we just put it on. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!

Have been going here for 20 years. Great stylists, very comfortable. Owner Charlie is the best. They have now added a med spa to their options. Having body contouring and various types of light therapy is an amazing added bonus. This place rocks.

Beautiful location, friendly stylists. My son Tim has a longtime clientele there. There’s a little deli, and comfortable outdoor seating right on the Willamette River.
