Studio 7 Salon and Spa

I've waited a few days to write this, trying to be balanced. The stylists here are very talented and get 5 stars. The reason for 3 stars is the shop itself. If you are claustrophobic or subject to migraines you might want to ask your stylist to book on a slower day or take an Advil before you go. The shop is small and absolutely packed. It is LOUD and I don't just mean decibels--people talking loudly to be heard over hair dryers and music. Also, the decor can only be described as circus-like. Kitschy loud decor covers the walls. Caution to anyone with Seizure Disorder, there are (non-rotating) mirror balls everywhere.

Laurie is coming to Studio 7 and you can’t find anyone better for listening through changes in length, color, or just maintaining a short sculptural cut!

Rebecca is very nice, friendly and accommodating. She has been my esthetician for over 10 years. She recently gave me permanent eyebrows. She did an awesome job. She is a perfectionist and I love that. Her place is very clean, organized and I feel relaxed when I am there.

I've been seeing Athena for 5 years and she is amazing. I trusted her to do my wedding hair and she outdid our expectations. Her salon is clean and I love the decor. She is outstanding with color and gives honest feedback on what you ask for, then helps you translate what you are asking for into what works for your hair. After years of people doing a fair or poor job on my hair I am reliever to have Athena. (While seeing her I used to have extremely long blond hair and I currently have a short assymetrical Bob in pibk/orange with a designed undercut - she is very versatile!) Highly recommend the massage by Lindsay! Been in the manual labor work force since I was 16 and have done some serious neglect to my back over the years. I left feeling loose and rejuvenated. I was so relaxed I fell asleep!
