Strange Powers

Sabrina has been the only person to cut my hair in 2+ years. I’m a guy with curly brown medium length hair and with her I’ve been able to explore a variety of different hairstyles. We have done mullets, rat tails and now we are working towards a wolf cut. I get compliments on my hair all the time thanks to my girl Sabrina. Besides her skills she’s just really easy to talk to and provides an excellent consultation service. I followed her to Strange love and I only have positive things to say about the brick/mortar space. I found that the parking was convenient. The interior of the building is open and clean. It’s conveniently located next to Pocket Pub where my friend Jean works. Leaving this review because I love Sabrina!

I love this salon and my hair stylist, Jenny Lewis! She absolutely nails it every time with my hair color. Every appointment I’ve had over the last year I’ve walked out so stoked about my hair. She is a dream stylist and super chill. Highly recommend Jenny and Strange Powers. Also the salon is in an amazing space with a ton of plants, high ceilings and natural light.

Sabrina has been my barber for over three years now, and the few times I’ve had to get my hair cut by someone else while traveling, it’s just not the same! She always does an incredible job making sure I get exactly what I’m looking for—whether it’s a big change or just a trim. She’s not only talented at her craft but also an fun, interesting, and enjoyable person to talk to, making everyone feel comfortable in her chair. I’ve followed her to Strange Powers from her previous shop, and the new space is wonderful. Highly recommend Sabrina to anyone looking for a great cut!

I've been getting my hair cut by Sabrina for two years now, ranging from shoulder-length to short hair. She does incredible work taming my wavy, thick hair and I always leave happy. She has a great eye and is overall a fun and lovely person. Strange Powers cultivates an inclusive space and feels very safe.
