Strands Hair Studio

Tara is amazing! I wasn't sure how to style my hair. She did a couple shades of low lights and a really nice job with the cut. It looks great!!

After having a horrible experience from another hair salon with bleach, I call Strands Salon right as they opened and they picked up immediately. I explained what happened to my hair from the previous salon and asked if they had any openings that day. The girl who picked up my phone was extremely kind and booked me an appointment that day with Tori. Tori was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, experienced, kind and gentle. She brought my hair back to a beautiful rich shade of brown to match my natural hair. She answered all my questions and made me feel safe while she worked on me hair. She also told me how to care for my hair even after leaving the salon. The salon was very well put together, classy but also down to earth. I had a really bad experience with another salon and decided to try Strands about 10 years ago. I've been a loyal customer ever since. The studio is calm and cozy. Their products are amazing and smell fantastic. I love Emily- she is kind, compassionate, and constantly educating herself with new techniques. I have recommended Strands to all of my family and friends. Give them a try!

Had been to Strands Hair Studio yesterday for partial lowlights. Absolutely loved what stylist Tara did. Just by using a specific lightner for a specific time, I got the desired color. Surely, this is what experts like Tara, understand and do. I am definitely going there again for a full lowlights treatment soon.

Donna, the owner of the salon, is the only individual that understands the way my hair works. I have been going to barber shops for the past 20 years and just so happened to be referred to Donna at Strands while I was visiting New York and I couldn't be happier for going there. Perfect cut and it's what I've been trying to do for years. She is amazing.
