I’ve been going to this salon on and off for about 3 1/2 years now and I’ve finally decided that it’s time to part ways. I like that they have a separate dark room for shampooing that feels relaxing and that they never keep you waiting when you have a scheduled appointment. However, I never really like the way I look after my appointments. The problem is, there’s such a lack of quality hairstyling. I always leave feeling like I look.. just okay. I’ve tried showing inspo pics to the stylists, I tried explaining in detail what I want, but the outcome never looked anything close to the picture. I would only receive basic curling iron waves & have completely flat hair on top. This salon is my happy place. The 10 minute head massage is sooo relaxing and unexpected. The product lines are top notch. The staff is amazing and talented and most importantly kind and attentive. I get my lash extensions every other week, weekly blowout and treatment to keep my blonde hair bright. I also purchased hair extensions that can be easily added and removed. Have them make you a cappuccino and choose your shampoo add-ons like pressure point massage, warm hands or warm wrap, soothing eye mask and others. Lastly, the scalp detox is an every-other-month essential to keep my scalp healthy and dandruff free.

Just writing to say thank you so much to the Stephen Alan Salon in Yorkville, IL. ! The “perks” that come along with the service are awesome! The 10 minute head massage 💆‍♀️, the hot hand and face towels are amazing and/or a few other choices besides the face and hand hot towels. When I arrived at the shop, it was freezing and I was given a warming pack! Who does that?? There’s a whole new beverage bar which is super cute and inviting! Any kind of hot or cold beverage you would prefer! And for Cadence, my stylist, she’s just awesome! I look forward to seeing her every time I come in. She’s always so sweet and kind. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience so far at this salon! I appreciate the personal experience and the genuine care. It seems like all the stylists there are really invested in their clients and what they want, and sometimes that can be hard to find on a deeper than surface level. It’s definitely genuine from what I have experienced. Thank you for fostering that sort of environment!
